Plastic Surgery FAQs

Dr. Temmen requires that the following health requirements be met to be eligible for surgery.

No Diabetes
No poorly controlled rheumatic disorders
No cardiovascular disease
No history of strokes
No clotting or blood disorders
Smoking cessation 6 months prior to surgery
BMI must be < 31.9
For tummy tucks and body contour surgeries, patients must be 9 months postpartum prior to the operation

The patient must be six months postpartum and 6 months after cessation of breastfeeding before any breast surgery
