Description:
This is a 31-year-old female with a several year complaint of labia minora hypertrophy particularly after the vaginal delivery of her second child 9 months before the surgery.
She complains of feeling embarassed by her appearance, difficulty finding clothes that fit well, and pain and irritation with exercise and/or tight fitting clothing. She had a previous "severe" tear following vaginal delivery requiring repair. After repair, she notices increased labial irritation and painful intercourse with tearing of the posterior vaginal introitus following intercourse.
Dr. Temmen proceeded by performing labiaplasty.
